Terms of Service

These terms explain how you can buy from Britannia Essentials. By placing an order on this website, you agree to them. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. About us

Britannia Essentials is an online-only store. You can contact us at any time by email at britanniaessentials5@gmail.com.

2. Your order

When you place an order, we will send you an email to confirm that we have received it. This is not an acceptance of your order. A contract between you and us is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email. We may decline an order, for example if a product is out of stock, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we decline an order after you have paid, we will refund you in full.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown at checkout in the currency displayed there. Payment is taken when you place your order. After you have completed your order, we cannot change the payment method or delivery address, so please check your details carefully before you pay.

4. Delivery

The estimated delivery time is shown during checkout or in your order confirmation. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and may vary depending on stock, your location and the carrier. We will email you with updates and a tracking number when your order is dispatched, and you can track your order on our Where is my order? page. If a delivery attempt fails, the carrier may try again or contact you; if the order cannot be delivered, it may be returned to us and we will contact you to arrange a refund or re-delivery.

Where your order is shipped from outside the United Kingdom, customs duties, import VAT or other charges may apply. Where these are not included in the price you pay at checkout, they are your responsibility. We recommend you check with the relevant customs authority if you are unsure.

Please check your order when it arrives. If an item is damaged or incorrect, contact us by email as soon as possible.

5. Your right to cancel and return

If you buy from us as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after the day you receive your goods, without giving a reason, and you then have a further 14 days to send the goods back to us. Full details, including how to cancel and how refunds work, are in our Returns & Refund Policy.

6. Faulty or incorrectly described goods

All goods we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a product is faulty or not as described, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to a repair, replacement or refund. Please contact us by email and we will help.

7. Product information and safety

Our products are sold for comfort, wellness and personal-care use. Unless a product is clearly stated otherwise, they are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or use an implanted medical device such as a pacemaker, please speak to your doctor before using any massage, heat or stimulation product. Please read and follow the instructions and safety information supplied with each product. Cosmetic products should be patch tested before use and stopped if irritation occurs.

8. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our failure to comply with these terms or by our negligence. We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.

9. Your personal data

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with your order or our service, please email britanniaessentials5@gmail.com and we will do our best to put things right.

11. General

We may update these terms from time to time; the version that applies to your order is the one published on the website when you placed it. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring claims in the courts of your home country.
